PLS HELP!!Having trouble with module: On this truck the heater fan or AC only blows when the key is in the run position so after I started the truck with the remote starter I had to turn the key to the run position to get the fan to start!  How does the unit supply power to the heater & AC circuit to preheat or precool the vehicle?  I currently have the orange wire (pin D) from 5 pin harness connected to the Brown accessory wire (+12v key in acc. pos.) in the Lt. Blue colored plug on the steering column from the ignition switch.  When I download the info for this truck from www.autostart.ca it says to put orange to orange in the ignition (key) harness?
Any and all help would be muchly appreciated!
Thanks

you need to hook up the orange wire from the prostart to the orange acc. wire in the truck

Just to clarify! this would be too the 2 Orange wires in the black connector which is just south (closest to firewall) of the Lt. Blue connector (same male socket) correct?  The manual says to hook the Orange wire (Pin 'D') on Prostart to the wire that has power in Acc. the Orange wire from the ign. only has +12v in Acc. & Run.  SO I quess this was wrong for a Chev because the fan only operates in 'Run'- Unlike my Fords' where the Fan runs in accesory along with the wipers! (So is the only purpose of this Orange (Pin 'D') from the Prostart to power the fan & AC when it starts Vehicle? This plug also has a Red +12v constant and a Tan w/White (any idea what this wire is used for? ) I checked with my test light no power from key?  Anyway I presume the brown wire I originally hooked the Orange wire (Pin 'D') from the Prostart too only operated the Radio in Acc. Pos.  Finally, are these 2 connectors the best place to connect most of the 5 pin harness wires? this is where I also took both my +12v from for Pin 'A' & 'E' off of! I didn't see much sense in ripping the column apart anymore and it looks like a mechanical connection from th switch to these plug contacts, is there anothe wire plug up the column closer to the ignition switch?

Sorry for the long winded ?'s Again any knowledge is good knowledge!

Thanks! fomocognatsum

ya, the orange wire is labeled Accessory. It is made to power comfort features like heat/ac/defroster, you just hook it up to the orange wire in the ignition.  the brown wire is an ignition wire, this must be powered to remote start, just hook them all up, you may need a couple relays for extra ignitions.
