I have an 01 altima with a prestige aps-785 installed, the car starts, runs for about 10 seconds and then dies. ive elimanated the possibility of a transponder by remote starting the car with the key in the ignition and it stil dies. the unit learns tach programming ok, i have both starter wires and all ignition and acc circuits powered up. i grabbed tach off of one of the coils, and ive done altimas with the same tach source without any problems. the thing is, the car only does this when it is cold, once the car is warm it will remote start and stay running fine.and normally if the unit doesnt learn tach, it will either grind the starter or wont even attempt to start, so im at a loss with this one. if anyone can offer some advice, or has had similiar problems like this i would appreciate help on this one! and yes the tach wire is soldered to ensure a good connection.

you have both start wires connected ? try an injector or the cam shaft ( and reporgram tach). maybe the voltage is too low in the cold on that one. . ?

i grabbed an injector and it works fine now. the coil voltage wasnt high enough .15 volts while at idle.
