I have a brand new 2003 Cavalier LS Sport 5spd that I would like to install an alarm/remote start setup in. I have installed a few remote starts/alarms in older vehicles, but none in a car like mine. So I don have some background in this.

My questions is this, who here has installed a remote start in a manual trans car similar to mine, what system did you use. Was it any good? How did it function (as far as setting the remote start)

I also need diagrams if anyone has a good one. And information on how to bypass the passlock system.

Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated!

the autostart line has manual transmission models of all their starters...setting into Ready Mode is a pretty standard thing (most are the same). 

use the PLdata or PL2003 to bypass the passlock II, instructions are in the bag.
