First of all. I would like to say Thank you to all on this Forum. I have been reading this board and have been learning a lot from you guys.
Special thanks to Jeff from velocitymotorsport.com. Man Jeff your all over this board.
This is my first post on this board.
I already have the wire colors from Jeff on his other post. I am installing a 2011RS Crimestopper on a 1999 Honda prelude. Do you still need that kit from www.bypasskit.com for this to work? Is there a cheap installers trick to get around the new honda OE systems? I don't mind breaking a key since my friend has 3 copies from the dealer already.
Can someone explain why I need so many pulses sent to the OE alarm from this sheet Jeff posted? How do I go about sending this pulse out to all these inputs. Do I even need to mess with this?
I finished every other wire already but need help on the door locks (the diagrams on this web site is not correct for this car, but jeff's post seems alot better!) and starting function since that bastard OE system doesn't let it crank.
Thanks ALL
David
the new guy;)

Hey Dave;
Some of the wires listed is only if you have the OE alarm system. ( BTW: Did I post this wiring diagram ?? Doesn't look like anything that I would have posted ? Just curious tht's all ). Any way........
- The lock and unlock wires are located in the passengers kick at the multiplex control unit in a blue 14 pin connector. They are both (-) trigger so all you have to do is to make sure that your system is outputting a (-) signal to these wires
- The Arm (key) NOT REQUIRED
- Disarm ( key ) Use this instead : DISARM NO UNLOCK--------blue --------in drivers door. This is the OEM alarm disarm wire ( needed for remote starter ) otherwise the OE alarm will be set off once the remote starter is activated. According to the diagram above, you can also use the 16ga. Lt. GREEN/ Red (M) at bottom of fuse box behind driver’s kick panel in 3 pin connector or 16ga. Lt. GREEN/ Red (M) under left side of dash in White connector
- Arm Input : Not used
It is recommended that you use the bypass that is KEYLESS, it costs more but the universal Immobilizer bypasses are crap. The wire loop that goes around the ignition shroud is so big it doesn't even pick up a signal around the key cylinder.

Sorry Jeff your right! It was posted by Dan768
The car does not have a OE Alarm..(I think) well it does have a keyless entry system - does that mean it has a alarm? The car will not honk or make any noise if you unlock the door once you lock the car with the remote.
But yes it does have a Immobilizer system - damm green KEY picture on the cluster.
You know the problem I had with the door locks was that I couldn't find the any wires on the driver side... I guess I will be running wires over to the passenger side kick. Thanks!!
So I guess there isn't a way to bypass the Immobilzer system honda has without using a "bypass system"? if so, yes I will buy the Keyless system bypass
Thanks again
David
If you have a OEM alarm system ( or you think you might ) you can test this by rolling down the windows of the car and locking the doors with the keyless entry remote. Reach in and unlock the doors from the inside and if the OEM system honks the horn and the lights flash, you have a OEM alarm to bypass. You will need a KEYLESS bypass module to bypass the Immobilizer system from honda...... good for anti theft..... bad for installers.
