In the manual for the alarm its says to hook up a trunk negative trigger and a door instant positive trigger. So the trunks (-) trigger gets hooked up after the trunk switch and the doors (+) trigger gets hooked up before the doors open switch. Can someone tell me if im right or if im getting it mixed up.

What type of alarm? Most alarms will have a negative instant trigger and a positive instant trigger for the doors. They will also have a -instant trigger for other sensors. Just in case, do not hook the positive door trigger and the negative trunk trigger to the same wire.

Its an Ungo MS1001 and it has both a negative and a positive door trigger but it only has the negative trigger for the trunk. Oh ya and it has a negative auxilary output and I think ill have to use a relay for that.

Oops I think I got it backwards. For a negative trunk trigger it should spliced into the circuit before the switch so that when the switch is closed (trunk open) it goes to ground and the alarm gets the trigger. For the Positive Door Trigger it should be after the switch so that when the switch is closed (door open) the voltage goes throught the switch to the alarm which causes the trigger. Is this right

Battery(+)------Warning-------Switch-------Ground(-)
Lamp At Door
I would splice the negative tirgger for the door into the wire between the warning lamp and the switch right

Your door trigger is {should be in the drivers sill or at switchs }blue and white. That gets a neg instant trigger. The rear is green at light . When you check the wire with door open , one will be hot and the other will be neg. You what the negative one. If you need all the wires for the car i got them. Brocclli13

my door doesnt have 2 wires thought it just has one wire that runs to the switch from the warning light and then it grounds to the chassis. I dont need to know were the switch and the wires are i already know that. The circuit i need to tap into looks like the crapy little picture i made above all I need to know is were to splice into it to get my negative trigger.
