I ahve installed a ungo rs 151 remote start and keyless entry. Everything seems to work great except I can not get the locks to work. I don't know if i need relays or what. I have a 3 wire positive setup, the alarm can do both. I also have factory keyless. Any help would be great ..... Thank you!!!

It sounds like you are going to need some relays... I'm assuming the remote starter you are installing does not have "on-board" relays built in. "LOCK"/ Connect Lock Wire from RS to Pin 85 of Relay: Connect +12V to Pins 86 & 87 of Relay: Connect Pin 30 to Vehicle Lock Wire "UNLOCK"/ Connect Unlock Wire from RS to Pin 85 of Relay: Connect +12V to Pins 86 & 87 of Relay: Connect Pin 30 to Vehicle UnLock Wire. Hope this Helps & good luck.

I Forgot to mention in the previous reply that you need to program you RS to a (-) output for the Lock and Unlock wires from the RS module.

Disregard the above advice from sheetrock, that system is revese polarity. Negative lock pulse from r/s to 85 on relay, 87 & 86 to 10 amp fused 12 volt source, 87a to switch side of factory locks and 30 to motor side of locks. Then negative unlock pulse to 85 on other relay, 87 & 86 to 10 amp fused 12 volt, 87a to switch side of factory doorlocks and 30 to motor side. The factory doorlock wires are org/violet and pink/violet in drivers kick. ------------- Gary Kline

Positive trigger ( use this diagram to convert the (-) to a (+) ) on models with factory keyless entry, and 5 wire on all other models. MUST USE RELAYS for both (+) trigger and type C. ------------- Jeff

I am very confused, maybe someone can explain to me why the alarm wont drive it , because it does both positive and negative. I can drive the locks where i hooked in by giving it power from the 12v constant connections. Is the alarm output not high enough? Also the relay i have is 30 amp SPST, will this work. Sorry for all the ?'s first time on an alarm. Thank you for all of your help.

Some units will not have enough current ( -) or (+) to actuate some high current systems like the Dodge uses. The SPST relays will not work , you will need SPDT 30/40 amp relays for the system to work properly.

I am almost positive that the locks are a reverse polarity in this truck. They are in a plug that is right above the kick. From the experiences that i've had, a regular bosch relay works fine.
