I have been installing quite a few avital remote starts and have been having range issues. I never had a problem with the 3000 series remote starts range, but have now started installing the 4000 series and have been having problems. I don't know if this is coincidental or something wrong with the installs. If anyone has had problems or has found a solution please let me know.

Where are you routing antenna and did they change the way theyre making the antennas somtimes companies change manufacturing to cost less and that may be your problem. Im not trying to insult your inteligence but Ive already routed an antenna near power wires and got a ton of interference. usually when a company starts to make things cheaper they make it harder on us. If it aint broke dont fix it.

ive noticed that too, i started playing with them by mouting the antenna at the base fo the rear view mirror. im not 100% convinced that it helped but it seemed to make a difference. also, toss as much wire as you can far back into the headliner, that seemed to help some.

what about selling a more proven product line? compustar and autostart have very solid range capabilities...
