Autostart RS with PLXR bypass.Car starts for 1 sec.then shuts off.I have been at this for hrs. I have triple checked my wiring and have exausted all ideas. I think the problem lies within the bypass as the RS works in test while running with key in.Have checked grd. out while running.
Data=yellow Bulb test = black in ign. harness...correct?
Pleeease help me.CC

Try white or violet/wht at pcm up high behind drivers dash. How did you wire in passlock bypass?

Brown-Ground out when running RS
Blue/data-Yellow data wire
Violet/white...bulb test out - black in ign. harness
Violet-Starter wire(yellow)
Pink-Ignition wire(pink)
Red-constant 12v
Black-Grnd.
Key sense out not used.

Folllow the above diagram i gave you you might have wrong resistance. Dont try to crank while yellow wire is cut or it will go into tamper mode.

Does anyone know the color of the key sense wire on the 97 Grand Am. The instruction manual downloaded from bypasskit.com say its required on all installations except vats and ion.

Thanks for all help! Turns out I had the the test bulb wire going to the wrong location. It's the black wire in the top harness plug(not the bottom where I was) Tests + in run position. - in crank pos.
