Anyone ever add a motion sensor or any other add on to an excisting factory alarm. If so which switch or what not would be best to tap into. The reason I ask is because it seems that adding an aftermarket to an excisting alarm seems like an oxymoron. It seems it would be better to beef up the factory alarm.... if possible??

ok if the factory alarm has a pin switch in the hood you can put any sensor if its not just a keyless entry make sure when you close all the doors ame it then open a door to see if it goes off
