I have a 2000 Mustang GT convertible ... and I am installing the Airwolf 20096 the same as the Lynx 2000R. I have not started anything just yet but I already have questions. I don't know where all the wires go or I should say I don't have all the wire colors for the car. The Diagram off this site is incomplete.
It doesn't Give me the colors of the Dome light. And is the the "Door Trigger" which is stated on this diagram the door pin switch?
Does someone have a more Complete wiring diagram of the 2000 Mustang.

Hey Nick, the DOME LIGHT wire is BLACK/ white wire (+ trigger ) at the drivers kick panel or at the GEM. The door trigger is one of the wires hooked up the the door pin switch. There are two door trigger wires. Use yellow/black for the drivers door and gray/red for the passengers door. Both wires are found above the drivers kick panel in a 20 pin connector. Use both wires and diode isoate each.------------- Jeff

Velocity Motors, Before I attempt this install ... I know that you have said that you have installed a bunch of these units. Is there any tips or anything you can give me before I make this attempt? Any help is much appreciated.

You have to do the ford door isolation. Or the alarm will go off about every 30 minutes. Isn't that hard. i can shot you have a diagram if you want.

That's what I have up above in the first response to his posting ............... Both wires are found above the drivers kick panel in a 20 pin connector. Use both wires and diode isoate each. The clutch bypass is another issue and also the vehicle has the PATS that require the PKF for bypassing. I suggest a keyless version over the key required if you live in an area that is prone to cold weather otherwise you have the potential for the chip in the key to freeze. ------------- Jeff

So I guess that it would be a wise decision to pick up a whole bunch of resistors along with some 30amp relays along with relay sockets to go with them ...

You are also going to need a realy to pop the trunk. Follow the same diagram for the clutch relay, just instead you are using the two wires on the switch to pop the trunk. Advanced Auto Parts sells relays in the light section for $4.95. Cheapest I found in my area.

Crudeau, Parts Express Has the relays for $0.99 each and the relay sockets are $1.50 so I think thats where Im going.

NO sh*t. I have to get me some then. I've been going crazy getting them things. Everywhere I find them they are around $10. SO i thought $5 was a steal. I am only thinking that maybe .99 each sounds like they may be poorly manufactured or don't last long. We'll see though. Hopefully they work out, I have about 9 relays in the car, that's a lot of cash to save. I don't use the relay sockets though. I use shielded female quick connects. They lock onto the hole's in the relay connectors and are tight as anything. about a $1 for a box of 50.

They are standard SPDT Bosch relays that are sold at Parts Express for $0.99.
