I have not done this vehicle yet. I was wondering if you can just grab the wait to start light wire or if you must use sonme kind of timer like with the 2003 trucks? If anyone has any info I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

i use audiovox with built in delay so i do not need to use a timer. i have done several of the 04's and nothing else has changed, so as a safe bet i'd get the timer module just in case

After going to the databus glow plug method, I doubt Ford would go back to the old methods. A timer module is needed unless you have a system that has a built in timer
