Installed a Direct Start 423 it uses -pulse to tell the computer that you have exited the vehicle before it shut down. The problem is that when it shuts down the dome light comes on again and sends a second pulse now the computer thinks the door have been opened again.Anyone have any ideas. This is a Diesel and Manual so the operating parameters are as follows. With engine running place vehicle in neutral engage the parking brake (press start button on remote} remove the key engine continues to run exit vehicle (Press start button to kill the engine) any break on door circuit or hood will deactivate remote start.
