If you have the Toyota Rs3200 system, they have an upgrade setup for it, which can be found on ebay for a decent price.

We do them all the time with the Code Alarm F30 OEM keyless entry upgrade module. They interface with the factory remotes and work great. It will have an onboard shock sensor, Starter disable relay, and flashing light output. Definately the best unit out there for that purpose.

There are many keyless entry upgrades out there. The company that I work for used to use an omega version, which wasn't bad, but we now use automate, made by dei and is much better. Check This out, it is similiar to what we are using now.

It gets wired into the car, the car is actually what controls the alarm. The remote will lock the door, turning the alarm on, then when you hit unlock the car will unlock the driver's door only, on the first push, disarming the alarm. The second push of unlock the alarm will do nothing, same if you push unlock on the switch. The remote has little to do with how the alarm works, so you can program any factory keyless remotes and it will still work the same.

You think you blew the wire or the ignition harness? I've never seen a blown wire, you may want to check the fuse under the hood. You may have a blown ignition fuse.

I found the way to upgrade my keyless entry with any alarm module.  It cost me $50 and "blew up" a wire.  Is anyone interest??

There is 2 black yellow wires on the 02 Camary.  One is igniton and the other is starter.

Are you sure you are testing the right wire?
