I recently installed an alarm/entry system in my 2002 Corolla. I could not have done it without the12volt web site. The CrimeGuard distributor, nor the manufacturer could supply the wiring information! Thanks very much.

My question regards the parking light supervision. I am not satisfied with daytime intensity, and would like to use a couple relays to trigger turn signals, vs the park lights. Is the electically feasable, and does anyone know the color, and location, of the wires. I suppose I could ring them out from the steering column stalk, but was hoping for an easier out.

Thanks again

Use the hazard lights at the switch .

Yeah, what Jeff said.

The whole trim piece around the radio just pulls out---move the A/C vents all the way to the "down" position to get your fingers in there.

Test the wires at the hazard switch; find one that turns to a steady positive when the hazards are switched on.  You should be fine hooking your alarm's parking light flash wire up to that.

Jeff and Chris,

Thanks very much! I will give it a shot.

I really admire you guys. I have been working in the electrical field for 45 years. I am currently the chief electrician in a 500 bed hospital, but when it comes to cars, all my education is thrown out the window! They are truly a different breen of cat.

You, and the web site are the best!

Jerry
