Child safety wire? Not needed.
Just grab the following in the passenger's kick panel:
lock = brown (-)
unlock = yellow/black (-)
Use the key in the passengers door when testing, not the switch on the door.

Stick with the wires in the center console, much easier

Do which ever you feel most confident doing, but center console is easier. ------------- Gary Kline

ok well i did this remote starter and the factory goes off when he remote starts the car .Where is the disarm no unlock wire ?? And do i need to hook upo a child safety wire?? I grabbed the door lock wires at the switch in the console. I was going to pulse the unlock wire to diasarm before start but i dont want the doors to unlock ,is there another wire??
I thought this factory would bot go off with ignition but it does??

Another thing, the wires at the switch don't arm and disarm the factory alarm. If it did, a thief could just break into the car and hit the unlock switch and the alarm would shut off. That is why I said to get the wires in the passenger kick panel....but nobody likes to listen to me. Those wires will arm and disarm the factory alarm because they are connected to the key cylinder in the passenger door.
You still will need to hook up a ground when running wire to the key sense wire to shut off the factory alarm when remote starting. It is a combination of ignition and seeing the key in the cylinder that shuts off the factory alarm.
