my father in law has a designtech r/s that i installed about 3 years ago.  some how he got the key fob wet or something and now it doesn't work anymore.  are there any fobs that are compatable to these without spending 40-50 dollars, since the whole thing probably only cost him 70 dollars.  i have seen the designtech website,  but i have also seen other companies selling theres for 15 dollars.  i have the numbers off the back of keyfob if that helps anyone.

thanks, 7t3vette

www.replacementremotes.com

www.remotes.com

www.lock.com

Perhaps you could use one of these companies services, they also do repairs.

There was a link for automotive remote securities, if I am able to find it, I will place it in this thread.

I have an older one that I could send you. What model starter do you have? what does the remote look like?

Please copy and past the above link. This vendor can obtain most of the main stream remotes on the market. I did not see the brand you are asking for listed.

But you may be able to ask him if he also carries a universal model which I have seen alot of.

If it is a fixed code remote, then that style of universal remote is easily used in your application.

thanks 7t3vette
