I installed a autostart as-1474 into a standard 2003 ford mustang mach 1. For some odd reason after you do the shut down sequence it starts fine for about 15 min. Then after 30 min or so the starter does start, or even show that it recieved the signal from the remote (parking lights). But its not a recieving issue because the door locks work fine from the remote, just does not try to start after about 30 min. Its almost like there is a gremlin that unpugs the starter after 30 min. Has anyone run into this??

Sounds like you have a bad hood pin. May I suggest that you varify that the hood pin is well grounded, also ensure that the door pin is also not at fault.
Lastly, varify that the brake sense is also not the culprit.
Is the clutch bypass wired correctly? Just thinking out loud here.
Also, if this unit has a tachless mode. To do a simple test, I would first engage this mode, then RS the unit and see if the problems disappear.
If the unit does not RS in tachless mode than you have narrowed down your problem, and vs.

hood pin is fine,,,super grounded might i add, haha, the door trigger wire works flawlessly. And so does the clutch bypass wire,,,it works fine for like 20 min after you set the starter,,then after about 30 min it just dosn't work, no parking light plashes, nothing. Buy the door locks work still and such,,,,,maybe i got 2 bad brains?

I would move on to the next step in the trouble shooting process.
Engage the tachless mode if it is available. If the unit RS's without faulter, then you have narrowed it down to a bad tach signal.
From there, it is a process of elimination. Does this vehicle have a OEM security?

the starter dosn't have the tachless option. As for security, no it does not.

This unit has a tach detection mode correct? Also, where is the tach signal being taken from now?
