first off, i installed a rattler 300 about three months ago and i have had no problems with it until tonight. when i bought the car i didn't know that  it had a factory alarm installed, so i just went on with the installation as normal. when me a my wife came out of the store she opened the trunk and the rattler's siren started screaming so she disarmed it (or she thought she did). she shut the trunk without fully disarming and it went off again. while it was going off the second time, the horn (which i never hooked up to the rattler) started beeping and the headlights (another thing i didn't hook up to the rattler) started blinking. I was extremely furious.

does anyone know of a way to disarm or disconnect the factory alarm on this car without a factory remote? it is a 98 sebring coupe (not convertible).

any help is greatly appreciated!!

DISARM NO UNLOCK----------GREEN / WHITE --------------| -  |----------------drivers door harness

Take a jumper wire to GROUND and attach it to the GREEN / WHITE wire and this will permanently disarm the OEM security system
