Hey everyone!  I am trying to install an alarm/starter, and small amp in my 92 civic.  My problem is I can't seem to fing the hole in the firewall to the engine to pass through various wires.  I found one on the passenger side footwell, but it seems sealed shut once I remove the rubber cover.  Is there another spot, or do I have to break out the drill??

Break out the old drill.  But make sure theres nothing your drilling into on the other side!!

is it a 5 speed?  if not, there should be a clutch plate that is sorta oval shaped with two small holes on either side.  it should be a little way up the firewall and to the left of the break pedal (duh).  check the engine side and use a grommet.

or you could run the wire through the main engine grommet on the driver side firewal in the corner.

Runner your power wire thru the factory grommet near the battery. Pop the grommet out and then feed something (really long zip tie or metal snake) into the car thru the hole and straight down. Pull back the carpet in the passenger footwell and you should see it.

do the hole near the battery and  the hole in the footwell line up straight, or on an angle, 'cause thats the hole I found, but it feels like solid metal, on either side.
