Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the 2002 Camry LE? I am trying to install a security system with remote start and have everything working except for the remote start. I am not sure if there is multiple starter wires or some kind of starter kill that is keeping the voltage from getting to the starter. This car didn't come with keyless entry or an alarm. So i wasn't sure if it needed some kind of alarm disable output to crank. When pushing the start button on the remote, the security system gives voltage to the ingnition 1 and 2 wires as well as the accessory wire. I can push the remote start button and while it is sending voltage to the starter wire, I can put the key in the ignition and crank it with the key and then turn it off and it will continue to run then I can turn it off with the remote. Am i missing something? THe system is a Commando 5005. Thanks in advance..

There are two starter wires...

12volts      WHITE/ red       +       ignition harness
Starter      BLACK/ white       +       ignition harness
Second Starter      BLACK / YELLOW       +       ignition harness
Ignition      BLACK/ red       +       ignition harness
Second Ignition      BLACK / YELLOW       +       ignition harness
Accessory      blue       +       front of fuse box

Keysense      blue       -       ignition harness
Notes: Using the status output wire from the remote start to trigger this wire will disarm the factory alarm without unlocking the doors.

JWorm, My system doesnt have a second starter output. It has one starter and two ignition. Also should I change my connection on the acc from BLU/RED (ignition harness) to the blue one in front of the fuse box? And should I hook the Factory Disarm output to the blue wire from the ignition harness?

Thanks

If you have the factory alarm:
Assuming the system has a ground when running wire (GWR).
Splite it with two diodes, one side goes to keysense. The other side goes to a relay.
85: GWR
86: Starter 1
87: Constant
30: second starter

If you don't have the factory alarm. just do the relay.

I have found the blue wire in different places.   Might even test as an ignition wire, not accessory.
Once had an 02 Camry constantly shoot washer fluid when I didn't hook up the blue accessory wire.

I have just notice that the manual says that the second ignition wire can be hooked as a second starter wire which is how I have it hooked up. I am getting 12V+ when key is turned on to it. as well as ign 1 and the starter wire.  I wonder if the keysense is the culprit. According to the manual the Factory Disarm Output(-) provides a ground output on disarming and before remote starting to disarm a factory security system. This car did not come with an alarm system. Do you think that this could be the problem?

Thanks

A key sense connection is not needed if you don't have the factory alarm.

A 'factory alarm disarm' wire is different then a 'ground when running' wire.
Just follow the relay setup I listed.
Notice there are two BLACK / YELLOW wires in the car. One is really thin (18 ga.) the other is about 14 gauge. I forget which is which. All the wires I listed above must be powered in the same method as they do when started by key.

Hummm, I didn't know that there was two BLK/YEL wires in the ign harness. Now that you mention it, it seems like I hooked the second starter wire up to the small one. Maybe I am hooked up to the wrong one?

It beleive the relay you listed is built internally into this system?? WHen the remote ignition is pushed it throws 12V+ to the starter 1 and the starter 2 wires.. AM I making sense??? or am I not quit understanding what you are saying?
