does anyone know how the speed of operation compares between SPAL's stand and deluxe power window kits?  i currently have a deluxe kit and was wondering if i'd see faster operation with the standard kit.  the deluxe kit is designed to provide more torque for heavier windows but my car actually don't really need the extra torque.  usually torque comes at the cost of speed so i would think that the standard kits operate faster.  has anyone had experience with both or knows how the two compare in terms of speed?  thanks!

Both are the same in terms of *lift* speed. You could increase the window speed by simply doing a little window maintenance in the tracks, rails, and guides, as well as the felt liners.

Also, ensure that the window pitch / deflection is properly set.

The first four things I have indicated dramaticly improves the operation of the window going up.
