I would like to add at least 4 blue led's to my car alarm and would like to know how to wire. Alarm instructions say the flashing led for alarm is the only one on that circuit. Is there another 12V out on alarm when powered. Also I guess i need flashing led's and resistor I know that much.
Any help would be appreciated
Don

t alarms have an output (usually negative) when armed, that can be used t alarms have an output (usually negative) when armed, that can be used..or a transistor.. see this older thread:

use the neg. out when armed (starter kill output) of the alarm to control a 30 amp relay.  Then wire as many self-flashing blue 12V leds as you wish.  When the system is armed, the relay closes and puts power to the LEDs that flash.  Disarm opens the relay and LED's shutdown....

simplest and cheapest method going.
