How hard is it to install your own alarm? I have plenty of knowledge with circuits and wiring, and confidence that I can do it. What all is needed to know? I want to install a Viper 791xv in my 2000 F-150, but places are wanting as much as $300 for install.

Can someone please give me a link or some questions to ask myself so that I can decide if this is a thing I can tackle or not?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Download an install manual at www.directed.com and see if you understand it.
