I have a 94 Talon Tsi the only question I have is on the "brain" of the alarm I'm installing I have the following options; Door trigger + or -, arming reminder on or off, anti-hijack mode enable or disable, and central door locks power or vacuum ? Thanks for any help or advice in advance.

also a quick second question., possibly a stupid one. My previous alarm that was on there when I bought the car had the siren mounted behind the headlight. Bad idea in my mind. Are sirens affected by water? I was thinkin low on the firewall or possibly under the car in the rear.

for the wiring on this vehicle, you'll only use one of the door triggers.  You'll have a + and - input, and you'll need the - one for this car  (pinswitch wire in DKP).  Simply tape off the + trigger as you don't need it.  Not sure what the arming reminder is (you'll have to read up on that one).  Anti-hijack should be disabled, and central doorlocks will be POWER....vaccuum locks went out of style a long time ago.

also, yes the siren is affected by water GETTING INSIDE it.  As long as the siren is pointed downwards so it doesn't collect and hold water, it should be fine.  Mounting under the car is a bad idea...way more vulnerable there.
