I have a 94 Mustang that has a spot reading "Theft" in the instrument cluster.  I am fixing to change the bezel that goes around the cluster, and i want to make the spot in the cluster functional.  What will I need to do to make my current alarm indicator work in this spot?  the alarm is an audiovox pursuit i believe (already in car when purchased)

i dont think you can use the wires from the LED output from the alarm to power the theft light in the car.....the LED should be low voltage....you might be able to mount the LED be hind the dash so it lights up the word theft when armed......you would have to disconnect the light that is factory..

if you can find out what the voltage is for your LED, you might be able to find a white one at radio shack...
