Hi,

I've got a 1999 Mazda 626,  whose alarm goes off intermittantly (only when the alarm is armed). I'm looking for a wiring diagram and also some basic guidance on where & how to begin troubleshooting this problem. Can anyone help?

Thanks, Jay

Do you know if it's the factory alarm, or do you have an aftermarket one installed?

Sorry, forgot to mention it's a factory alarm system

LIGHT GREEN/ RED wire at the driver's kick panel at the CPU in pin 8. This is a (-) trigger so if you want to permanently disable the system, attach this wire to ground and it will never arm.

Thanks to Velocity Motors - disabling it is definitely a good start.
