Ok this is probably a dumb question. The universal transponder bypass has a black wire that is intended to form a loop on the ignition. Is the wire insulator left on this loop? I assume that is but wanted to double check.

Thanks. Because it din't work with a 00 mazda 626 (4cyl)
I wanted to make sure it wasnt something i did (or did not do)
