Hi folks, I am installing a Rattler 369D on my 1999 Nissan Sentra.  The only thing left to do is hook up the keyless entry door locks (my car has factory keyless entry, no alarm)

The documentation is not clear to me on exactly what connections to make.  According to my car's shop manual and diyrattler.com, my lock switches activate when ground is applied.

To complicate matters, the 3-pin ribbon cable that is supplied with the 369D is attached to a relay.  My question is: Do I need to use this relay, or can I just snip the 3-pin ribbon cable and wire it directly to the lock and unlock wires from my driver's door lock switch?

Any help would be much appreciated.  I can post some images if necessary, just tell me what you need

Thanks,

Greg

Power Unlock PURPLE IN DRIVER KICK PANEL

depends on what the output is from the K/E unit...if its neg, then yes you can.. most units have a green and blue wire. green is lock and blue is unlock....
