I searched other osts but couldnt not come up with an answer to my question.

i am trying to have illuminated entry, and have read the diagram to the left. I just want to confirm that I do not need a diode. I am using a sidewinder 5000esp, and I am using I think black white <domelight wire off the alarm brain> and a relay + to access the curtesy light (+). I am also using the same curtesy light wire for my + trigger. I was wondering if I needed a diode for these.

thanks for your help
