I am going to be doing a starter and alarm in this van but the cutsomer want's the sliding door controled. Does anyone know how I would do this in this car? I will be using the Crimestopper 2011 alarm unit.Do I need a pulse timer relay??What is the polarity and color, where is the wire or wires located at ?? Also will I use the trunk pop output? Sorry for all the questions; but I have never done sliding doors before!

take apart the switch that controls the door and to some testing (use a DMM!!)  there might be as little as 2 or 3 wires, there may be a whack of em (like on Hondas).  In 1996 there sure wasn't multiplex, so the timer might be right in the switch.

you may get lucky and see a wire that simply pulses negative to close and another pulses negative to open...test test test!!

My cousin had one of those and it was easy, easier then the honda oddesey. I tagged it at the switch in the headliner though.
