I just received an RS750-LCD for my '02 Avalanche. I think I have most of the connections figured out but have a couple questions.

I've seen several references here to the lt green wire disabling the factory security system. The RS750 has the ability to re-arm the factory system. Is there a  wire in the Av will re-arm he factory system?

Also,  does the BCM inherently maintain the 2 step unlock or do I have to find other means to maintain that feature?

Thanks for any help you can offer

Unfortunately the factory security on the Avalance can only be re-armed with the factory remote. As for the 2 step, it will be untouched....works like factory.

The factory security should arm if you arm the 750 with the door open. If it does then you can pulse the door trigger at the same time as the lock wire to arm it with the door shut. Drivers door pin is the tan wire right next to the green disarm wire.

You will not be able to utilize the 2 step unlock and the disarm since the 750 has these 2 features programmable using only one wire. Its not a good feature with that unit anyway. I have the same unit and it is a hassle to deal with since you need to wait until the transmitter has received the confirmation before you can press unlock again.
