has anyone worked on a 2004 G35 as far as a alarm and remote start? never touched one, have one coming in this sat. any tips/tricks would be appreciated!!!!!!! ive got the audiovox info doorlock wires in the drivers door....so im basically looking for some tips from someone who has worked on one of these before

im not sure if you can do anything to that vehicle or not.  reason being that the entire elecrical system is done with fiberoptic cable, not regular wire.  we had one of them come in wanting a satellite radio with FM modulator.  the other installer knew right away about the fiberoptic thing.  i asked could anything be done to that car.  like an LOC to add an amp, or any security and he said no.  so unless anyone knows for sure a way to work on that car, i wouldnt touch it if i were you.

Hello im new to this board..

1st.. let me say i own a infiniti g35 and this is my "amp" and sub in the trunk

2nd.. the car is not fiberoptic.. I'm in the process of installing a viper 791 XV remote starter / alarm.. only prob is.. we have to run the unlock / lock wires directly to the door.. 2nd... i have to run the auto window up and down wire directly to EACH door!.. wow :( Has any one have any tips for me? i work at circuit city road shop here and im having the mananger help me instlal it, so far i ran the antenna, siren, led, valet button wires... I plan on finishing friday, PS i have all tech info on my car with pictures and locations of each wire, does anyone have any other tips?

ps.. i had a stock bose system in my car...
