I have the same car. Could you tell me where exactly the Tach is located? Where's the PCM?
I know that I can get the Tach from the Diagnostic connector located at the driver side rear corner of the engine compartment. I found that connector, but I don't know which pin it is. Seems an easier way to tap into the tach this way.
And how do you test if you got the right wire? I heard with a voltmeter set to AC and the voltage should increase as you rev the engine?
Thanks.
