I installed a autostart as-1414 into a 2003 durango with factory alarm, and i by passed the the key and all, but once and a while the truck locks out.  I think i grabbed the wrong alarm wire.  Its supposed to be ORANGE / green i think.  All my info is a t work, so i can't be certain.

I was wondering if anyone has any info on this truck as to why its acting so stupid.

The wire in talking about is the one that stops the horn from honking when you start the truck.

Thanks!

Disarm is a Lt.GREEN/ Orange thru a 1.5K Ohm resistor, and a double pulse will unlock. Lock and arm use the same wire thru a 620 Ohm resistor

Does that sound like what you did?

There are also 2 WHITE/ Green wires (only need one) in that same plug that you could have used for the lock and the unlock with 820 ohm and 320 ohm resistors respectively, but the Lt.GREEN/ Orange is still for disarm.
