this antitheft alarm, is this factory alarm or after market?
what are you tryin to do?

when i open it with the key on the passenger side sometimes it will honk once, other times its continous

Trigger the power unlock and the factory alarm disarm wires at the same time to disarm the alarm.

OEM disarm wire is yellow/blue ( - ) trigger at the drivers kick in a white plug
Unlock wire is blue/white ( - ) trigger at the drivers kick panel in a white 10 pin connector

When you install the remote starter have the unlock wire go to both the wire listed above and diode isolate each from the remote starter.
