I bought a MVS 373 from https://www.12voltshop.com/caralarm.asp. First, the drawing they sent was incorrect. Then they put a PDF on their site. So I installed it, and now the damn thing won't shut off. It auto rearms every 30 seconds.

I did the alter the programming defaults with the valet switch thing, and it beeps like it understands, but it doesn't. It still re-arms. Sometimes the LED is off but it still goes off. Even if I push OFF OFF OFF with the remote, it still re-arms.

I tried emailing their Tech help several times, and then their Returns email for a return number. They never returned the emails. Has anyone dealt with these people?

no terryr,
i have even heard of that brand....

if you want we can double check the wires that you hooked up to and see if they might be crossed...do you know if you can return the unit??

sites like that really screw things up for the sites they are the good ones...

send the wiring info that you have along with the car type and i will walk you through the wiring of the unit best i can....

or you can call me at the number below...

I triple checked the wiring already. As far as the wiring diagram they sent out the wrong one with the unit. Wires changed colors half way along their length and there was no 12keyed. Shows how screwed up the 12volt shop is. I guess they finally realized it because they put a pdf on their site.

They allow returns, in theory. However you need a return number, and since they don't reply, it shows they don't want to and/or have to many returns as is.

Most of the time I park indoors, or where it's safe. It is extremely annoying to have the alarm arm every 30 seconds.
