ok, how bad does this car suck to work on? ive got one coming in tomorrow. ive got the DEI tech info on it. negative ignition and starter wires. looking for any tips from someone who has experience on these vehicles, ive never worked on one.

i pulled up the DEI document 1500 and it has the ignition setup a little odd. its hard to describe it but theres a diode across 86 and the (-) ignition wire in the ribbon harness and thats in series with the ignition wire in the car.

well if you like working with relays then this car is not that hard at all ,but if you are like me and dont like having extra work then usually neccesary then you will hate it. Good luck and bring plenty of relays!!!!,you'll need them !!!!!!!

Relays huh.... try doing a Rolls Royce. Everything is negative. The one I worked on had a relay bank that The Fishman would be in awe about. At least 50 relays behind the glove box. ------------- Someone pass me that bottle.

well i havent pulled the car in the bay yet, it turns out i was wrong about it being a 96, its an 89, so i dont know if that is easier or harder than a 1996. i guess im going to find out.......
