I just got myself a set of the 2 wire power door lock/unlock actuators. I want to add these to my alarm. My alarm has the keyless entry feature but I'm not sure how to hook it up. Am I gonna have to purchase some relays? How do I hook them up to my alarm also.

i guess the actuator you just purchased is an aftermarket product thats reverse polarity. check on this site at left column in relay.
good luck!!!!

You never heard of this alarm before that's why I didn't mention it. It's a KCJS VT-V12 two way RS/alarm. Trying to hook up the door locks to my 92 civic. I don't think it really matters on the car because I'm using aftermarket door lock actuators which uses 2 wires.

Just checked it out. I'm just confused on which wire's from the alarm to hook it up with. I hava a seperate 6 pin door lock/unlock harness. Says that I need a lock relay which is connected to 3 wires and the unlock harness that is connected to the other 3 wires. What wire do I hook it up to?

Ok Vang take the - lock and unlock wires coming from your new toy. Hook those to 85 on each relay. 86 and 87 12v. 87a gnd. 30 will go to one wire of the motor and 30 of the other relay will goto the other wire. voila. If yo want a door lock switch tie into 85 and wire to ground.

I got that part figured out now. The only problem I am having now is which wire from my alarm to hook it up to? I have one wire from my alarm that says it's used for 2 stage door unlock output 300ma(-). Do I attach this single wire to 86 or one relay and 85 from the other relay? I don't see any other wire output that says it's for lock output.

use the lock and unlock wire from the brain, and usually they are blue and green. i know on DEI products you have to use a 451m to operate actuators. basically its two relays in one.

I posted earlier but lost the post about installing the 2 wire aftermarket power door locks to my alarm. My alarm has a lock/unlock harness. 3 green wires and 3 blue wires. Green for unlock and blue for lock. I don't know if this is correct but this is what I've come up with for what each wire does. One of the blue and green wire is the constant 12(v) wire fused for power. Another of the blue and green wire gives out the 12(v) source. The last of the 3 wires on each color is the output of the lock and unlock. I tried the door lock relay diagram for the 2 wire system but had no luck. It didn't work at all so I came back to ask more questions. Let me know what you think I should do.
