Hey folks!

I will be getting my 1991 Volvo 740 (non-turbo) in a couple of days and I am planning to get an alarm/keyless entry/remote start for it.

Question:

What kind of door locks does a Volvo 740 have?  I think all doors unlock if I use the key in the driver's door.  Will I be needing an actuator in the driver's door?  Are they expensive?  How much work is it to install them?  What else would I need for this project?

In general: what works/does not work for these cars as far as alarms, remote starts and keyless entry?

I saw a link somwhere about how to add an actuator to the drivers door. There were pictures of the install. It recommended finding one at the Junk yard and using the actuator from the passenger door.
