Hi, I need help in trying to determine why my Clifford IQ-800 alarm system is disabled after not using my car for a over a month. I revived the car battery but the alarm system is not responding to any programming (i.e., not taking valet code through the toggle switch). The alarm LED is off and it seems the system is just "dead".

How do I go about "waking up" my car alarm? Is there any way to reset it?

Thank you for your help.

Check the fuses to the alarm, they may have blown in the battery revival process.

I would also suggest that you spend the extra money on a new battery. It will be nothing but trouble in the future, especialy during colder months.

Thanks. Turns out I needed to disconnect and reconnect the battery cables. This somehow "reset" the alarm.
