Ok so I am at my wits end here. I am trying to install a remote start on a 2003 accord lx and I can't get it to work. I have tried the PKH3 immobilizer bypass and it is not working. I get the car to crank and it just won't kick over. If I put the key in the ignition it will remote start. I then tried another method using a relay and the spare key. Wrapped a 22guage wire around the key cylinder, then ran it to the key and wrapped around it. Ran one end to position 87 and 30. Ran 12+ to position and 85 and (-) to position 85 when it is trying to remote start. Was told this would make the car think the key was in the ignition and is from Omega as one of their tech notes. If anyone has any ideas on what to do or if you have got this to work, please tell me how you did it. I know the DEI-555i is also a possiblity but don't have one right now and want to get this done!! thanks for everything!!!

yes you are correct in the positions, typed that backwards. where did you wrap it around the key at? as for the ignition i wrapped it around there 6 times and not really sure if i was going around the right spot either. do i need to strip the wire? i did, but was a pain in the ass. can i wrap it around it too many times? hell i would cover that damn thing in wire if i can get it to work. thanks for the help.

no dont't strip the wire wrap it around the head of the key.the wire around the ing should go three times arount the key cylinder it will be between the trim piece and the key cylinder kind of wegged in there re install with unstripped wire its probably part of the problem . no you can't wrap it to many times
