Can someone tell me where I can find the power door lock relay in the dash,on a 1993 silverado pickup????THANKX!!!!

does the truck have factory keyless entry? if not, its a reversal rest at ground circuit, and there are no relays (which is why you can't find them). I don't think that old a truck would have come with factory keyless as an option....if it has factory keyless, its a positive pulse circuit, and again no relays but rather triggered internally at the bcm... b

ya... this truck didn't have the option of keyless...... so its a reversal rest at ground system, no relays -------------

hello bud, i have almost the same question. i like to know where is the relays for my trucks power door locks located. i have a 99 ford f150 supercab. the locks work sometime or could it be in the switch can anyone help me?

Hi poboy12. The door lock/unlock circuit in your truck may be a negative trigger or 5 wire reversal rest at ground. The lock wire is pink / YELLOW and the unlock wire is pink/green. Both are found in the driver's kick panel. Test first to determine circuit type.

on the two door trucks it a 5 wire setup. youll need two relays or a DEI 415m. the colors are light blue (lock) and BLACK/ red (unlock). they are located in the drivers kick panel, or in the drivers door boot if you feel like messing with them there. the best thing to do is pull out all of the kick panel plastic and reach up through the little hole in the kick (there is a piece of metal before the main outer sheet of the chasis), there are a a few harnesses up there but you can dig and find the 5 wire one up there. coax it down out of the opening and you can wire it a little more out in the open rather than where you can barely reach it.
