Could someone tell me the difference with a Mini-neo siren and a Mini-peizo siren please? I've been brainstorming this all day so I had to ask.

Some searching around and I found out that piezo's are often used inside as a pain generator... hmm am I correct on this.

also do you know what siren the cliffords use? Older cliffords, from what I can see the new ones use the 'revenger 6 tone mini-neo' siren?? Which are the ones that sound like a horn or something like that.

The sounds that the older Clifford siren units emitt are controled by the alarm's CPU.
The electronics are not housed within the siren, only the motor assembly, and wiring.
The piezo is crystal, which can resonate at very high frequencies, and can change state very quickly. As you have noted, it can produce very high frequencys with very little travel.
They are used for shock / impact sensors, and various other applications where the state of change is measured.
The Neo, or Neodymium, is a rare earth magnet. Which is very powerful in magnetic properties. If you ever seperate the motor assembly on a siren which houses such rare earth magnets keep them away from small children. 2 magnets can snap together so quickly they will break a finger.
Piezo = Crystal = Very High freq, with little power, space and motor travel.
Neo = True *Natural* magnet = Because of its natural properties, it can produce 3 times the magnetic field as a man made magnet, or save twice the space.
