I installed a DEI Valet 552T in my truck and as soon as it starts it shuts off and tries to start again and shuts off and keeps doing it. Did I miss a wire or is something missing? Any help appreciated.

Did you do the tach programming properly ? Another thing to look for is the brake connection solid ?

I'm having trouble finding the tach wire, I thought it would have been easier to find inside the vehicle rather than at the coil, the info I have is that it is gray/blue at the harness drivers kick near firewall, is this correct?

The easiest place to catch the tach on that vehicle is at the coil ....its BLACK/ Grey (at the coil).

thank you for the info the remote start is working great and I just have a problem with the door locks. I've been reading related posts but nothing is working yet?
