i just installed a crimestopper rs999fm in my 04 ram.  everything seems to work except the parking lights.  i have it connected to the WHITE/ green at the switch with a 330 resistor.  the module has a jumper for 12v+ and negative output.  i have it set for the negative output.  when i lock and unlock, the headlights foglights and the parking lights flash.  the same thing when i remote start it,  all of the lights are on.  am i missing something here??  any help would be appreciated.

You need to cut the wire and use a relay to send the negative pulse to the light side, not the switch side.

how exactly do i wire up this relay and do i still leave the module's jumper on the negative output?

Pin 30 to light side of wire
Pin 87a to switch side
Pin 87 to the resistor and then to ground
Pin 85 to ground
Pin 86 to the positive parking light output

It would just be easier to use the positive parkinglight output from the starter

skip that if you have a 12+ output find the WHITE/ gray wire in the large harness above park brake and that should be your 12v+ park light wire no resistor needed.

Also, you can use the BLACK / YELLOW wire under the hood in the harness above the brake booster. this wire is positive trigger or you can go directly to the parking light relay and tie a wire off the 30 pin
