I had istalled it with 2 relays and a diode. it works fine, but the person that had the car before put a alarm in, and when I arm the alarm, and the lights flash. the stero comes on.     I guess they taped into the ignition accessory wire.                 any ideas of how i can fix that?

make sure they did not tap into the ground when armed wire.

no they didn't tap in to the ground.

well I'll just move the alarm wire from the ignition to the wires coming for the headlight switch
