I just got a remote start system for my car, and was wondering if there was a way to bypass the security system without getting the bypass module. I dont mind if it is bypassed all the time. I will most likely get the bypass module anyway, but would like to know how to do it anyway.. I have a 2000 Grand AM SE1 with a 2.4 DOHC

You could try this, but a bypass would be much easier:
PassLock II with Relays and a Resistor-------------

If you don't mind it being bypassed all the time, check the resistance of the pellet on the key and get a resistor from radio shack that is within 10% of that value. They are very cheap, like 5 for 1.00. Cut the wires coming from the switch and connect the two loose wire ends using one of the resistors. This way it will always have the correct resistance, as if the key was in the ignition.

But, be sure to connect the resistor on the computer side of the wires after they are cut, not the switch side.

Dont permanently bypass it or else you risk getting stranded. It is better to use a relay and a resistor. The link above will work, but you can do it with a single relay.
Pin 30 to the computer side of yellow passlock wire
Pin 87a to the key side
Pin 87 to one side of the resistor (Trimpot is better)
The other side of the trimpot to the black passlock ground wire.
pin 85 to (-) out when running from the RS
Pin 86 to 12v+ or Ignition
