Here is some info from a previous post:

Jeep Grand Cherokee 1999+
Parking Lights

In the past the only option to illuminate the parking lights of the Jeep Grand Cherokee was to supply a ground pulse through a 240 ohm resistor to the parking light wire at the headlight switch. While this will still work, we believe this Installation Note will provide a safe and easy alternative which requires no hard-to-find parts.

1) Locate the Parking Light Relay and unplug it.

2) Remove terminal 87A and attach a wire to terminal 30. (See diagram.)

3) Re-Install the relay leaving the wire attached to terminal 30.

4) Connect the wire (From terminal 30) to the AutoCommand Lights Wire (Yellow, see AutoCommand Instructions.)

another way is to just grab the negative trigger hazard light wire in the harness coming from the steering wheel. this works fine aswell, you just cant have the parking lights stay on constantly because if that wire sees a constant ground the lights will flash obviously (hazards)
I've done this many times, works fine
just my 2 cents.

Mxxmikexx, that is a good idea. I've never thought about using the hazards for parking lights when I've ran into a problem for the parking lights..Learned something new today.
