Hi. We're installing a remote mstarter into a 2001 Pontiac Montana. The 555G does not seem to be programming. The little led blinks for a second during programming and does not learn diddly. I checked all my connections and all seem to be correct. Any help would be appreciated

First of all, be sure the jumper is set to DATA.
Secondly, do the entire remote start and 555G install with the exception of the BLUE status wire.
Thirdly, insert the key, GROUND THE BLUE STATUS WIRE OF THE 555G, now remote start the vehicle.
That's it!
Remove the key, connect Blue status wire of the 555G to the groundout wire of the remote starter and test.

Found the problem. We substituted the Blue/black on the 552t with the blue (from the brain) Apparently this car needs to see the 555g Earlier than the ign 3 output provides. Thanks for your help.
