Has anyone worked on a 2004 audi a4 that can offer any tips on installing a remote start and keyless entry?

Have you done many VW's or Audi's? My shop won't even bother with them. Too many headaches.

How did you get the wiring diagram? The 03 is a 4.2L and completely different than a 1.8T or a 3.0L in the engine compartment. In the cab should be the same. Immobilizer works the same as all the audi's since 2001! I haven't done a RS, but, I know the immobilizer works the same as the previous models.

i got the info from the audiovox tech website. I just want to know if this is going to be a job im going to regret booking or not? i got JWORM comparing the audi to VW, and if thats the case im not doing the job. the last VW i worked on, i had nothing but problems. i hate turning away money, but there is a fine line between money, and keeping my sanity instead.

well i just got done with it a few hours ago, aside from running wires into the drivers door for locks and trunk release, it wasnt too bad. i had to make my own antenna ring to fit the huge factory key with remotes built in. so as long as it doesnt become a boomarang car and come back every few weeks with problems, ill be happy.
